About Ironwood
Ironwood Builders is a family owned and operated Class A licensed/fully insured home builder based out of Charlottesville Va. The company was formed in 2006 by brothers Micah Ruth and John McGurn. Both John and Micah come from a painting background. Their experience in painting helped them develop an eye for quality craftsmanship. Their company still prides themselves on still being able to deliver premium quality paint work to their clients.
However, throughout the last ten years they have sought to build upon their skills. Both John and Micah have worked hard to continually learn and improve in the many aspects of construction and home renovations and have diversified their skills in an attempt to perfect their craft.
Ironwood offers a very unique building experience. They keep the majority of their work in house and specialize in a wide array of construction expertise. Their services range from framing to kitchen/bath remodeling to high end finish paint work. This approach allows them and their crew to be hands on and readily available throughout the project, for the entire project lifecycle. Ironwood prides themselves on their versatility and attention to detail. Their goal on every project is to make the construction experience enjoyable for clients, their crew, and themselves while achieving high standards and building strong relationships along the way.
